Class Bio

Your CLASSMATES OF The Class of 1967 WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LIFE AFTER WOOSTER HIGH SCHOOL DAYS!

Would you please take a minute and fill us in on the past 55 years. (i.e. family, education, employment etc.) 500 words or less is preferable.  We have all experienced enough of life to realize it has ups and downs but WE CARE!  Also, bragging is allowed.  Your bio will be printed and distributed at the reunion.  Your class picture, current picture and a family picture are encouraged.

If you are unable to attend, we will email or mail you copies of all bios provided.

Please return your bio via…rkyund@gmail.com.

THANK YOU and we hope to see you September 10th.

Saturday Morning (September 10th) - 10 am

A tour of the original high school structure (now Cornerstone Elementary) will be conducted by a friend of the class, Carol Nester (who continues to work for the school district) beginning at 10 am. The structure has changed but the vibe remains, so please plan on attending this tour. Relive the moments you spent in the corridors and classrooms of this grand old building.

Saturday Evening (September 10th) - 6 pm

We are happy to announce there will be no cost to attend the WHS 55th Class of 1967 main reunion event @ Spoon Market & Deli, in downtown Wooster.  Free Super-Sized hors d’oeuvre BUFFET is included at no charge! There is however, a cash bar which will be your responsibility. A special attendance gift will be given again this year, as we did at the 50th.

We will take time to honor the memory of deceased classmates and we will provide a remote broadcast through Facebook Live of the program portion of the evening for those who may be restricted from attending. Licensing restrictions will keep us from a live broadcast of the entire evening which we regret. A message from the Reunion organizing committee  will be shared during the program portion of the evening. You are invited to bring your copy of the Imperator to share with others. Timely memorabilia will be on display and the original Senior Banquet class history will be displayed and shared during the course of the evening.

Parking will be available within easy walking distance of Spoon and access to the 2nd floor event area is through an elevator.

If you wish to make a donation to the Class of 1967 you may do so. Thank you for your on-going support of the WHS Class of 1967.

Monday September 12th (Evening) 8:00 pm

Lonestar will be performing at the Wayne County Fair and this concert event is not an officially sanctioned event for the Class of 1967 reunion weekend. If you are a fan of Lonestar and a special fan of the Wayne County Fair we wanted you to have this information. The Wayne County Fair hailed as "Ohio's Foremost Agricultural Fair" runs from September 10-15, 2022.  For more information regarding the fair or events you may call 330-262-8001 or email waynecountyfair@yahoo.com.

Special Note:

Since it is Fair Weekend in Wayne County, please make your hotel reservations early.  Few classmates took advantage of room discounts five years ago, so it was decided not to negotiate rates with area hotels. Best Western, Garden Hilton, Hampton Inn and others are located in the immediate area. So, if you require a room please make those reservations now. You may ask if they discount the room and report back to me for any help I can give. DJ
