Danny and I had a close relationship in Junior High. I remember when he lived with his mom, across from the H.S. practice field, adjacent to Grant Park. We enjoyed many hours playing together and listening to music. I was so happy for him when he returned to play with The Olivers at the Inferno (YMCA). Danny was in another league then, traveling all over northern Ohio playing nightly gigs. I have a fond memory when he helped me organize the Lip Sync Beatles. We only performed twice, once at Bowman and once at Edgewood, both during dances. Jimmy Chapman, George Dilgard, Danny and I comprised the make believe Beatles. He would bring his drum set to each of the performances and helped us find guitars to play or make believe play. This was 9th grade and it was awesome! Don Jones

I will really miss seeing Fish at the reunion next year. I vividly remember talking with him
at the end of our last reunion and encouraging him to make the 50th. I could tell that it had taken a
lot of his energy to make that party. We shared a lot of good talks in high school - he cared
and listened. A good friend for so many of us. At one of the reunions he showed me his professional PGA
card. He was proud of that accomplishment.
