January 25, 2007 - Daniel Lee Devore, 58, died from complications of Agent Orange. After graduation from high school , he was inducted into the U.S. Army, where he served with the 101st Airborn Division and in Special Forces. He received a Purple Heart, Combat Infrantrymans badge, National Defense medal, Rifle Sharp Shooter, VSM, CIB, AFEM, VCM, VN Winter-Spring 70 and 13th Unnamed Campaign. He had also served in the U.S. Merchant Marine.Surviving are a daughter, Carrie (John) Dawson of Wooster; a grandson, Nathaniel Dawson; a sister, Dolores Johnson of Wooster; nephews, Jay and Larry W. Johnson; and a special friend, Elvis.
