Michael Paul Stype, age 66, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on January 18, 2015 at Franciscan St. Anthony Health in Michigan City, IN. Michael is survived by his wife: Paciencia B. Stype; children: Charlene (Tim) and Rosario (Roger). He was preceded in death by his parents: Earl and Jean Stype, and brother: William Stype. Michael was a member of Queen of all Saints Church in Michigan City and attended daily Mass at St. Anthony Hospital. Michael was a graduate of Ohio State University. He was employed for more than 20 years at Swiss Controls of Michigan City, IN. Michael enjoyed making crafts and creating rosaries, he was a computer enthusiast and programmer and a cartoonist. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Queen of all Saints Church located at 606 S. Woodland Ave. Michigan City, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Queen of all Saints Church with Father Michael Yadron officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Couples for Christ FFL.
