Sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Our numbers are declining, which is to be expected, but never welcome news.

I've known Bitsy (haven't thought of that nickname in about 60 years) since first grade. Always a smile, always fun with an interesting sense of humor. A good guy who will be missed. RIP.

Back in the 70s we lived across the hall from each other in an apartment  building.   Had so much fun.  Laughing and joking all the time.   He was was one of the good guys for sure.  Had lost track of him but never forgot his friendship all those years ago.   Blessings and prayers to his family.

Bob was a lot of fun for everybody that knew him. (great memory Doug Leedy... I'd forgotten that he was also known as Bitsy).  He had a quick smile, a quick sense of humor, and he always had something going on.  He was a Cincinatti Reds fan and a great infielder in Little League.  His dad 'Birdie' coached the Stouts News team.  Mark Robinson reminded me of the small field behind Bob's house that was a neigborhood mecca for pick-up baseball and football games that a lot of us played in.  And if there wasn't a game no matter, because Bob would come up with something... mischievious or adventurous... or both.  He did everything his way, with a smile.  Rest in peace.   Will
