December 27,2003 - Charles R. Schaffer, 54, passed away at the Wooster Community Hospital after a short illness. He had received his associate degree in Business from the Univ of Akron. Charles worked at Rubbermaid in Wooster for 27 years as a lift operator and President of the local union. He is survived by Peg, his wife of 33 years, son Brian of Worthington and daugter Sara of Columbus.

One of the cutest boys in school and the most fun. Chuck, worked for my husband Bill at Sohio then at Rubbermaid. They always were good friends and we were so sad when he passed away. In high school I never thought Chuck would be such a big part of our lives. We miss him and cherish our memories.
